How much would it take?

The party game that puts a price on everything, and reveals what your friends are really made of.

Forget trivia. Forget charades. Every round, someone sets a secret dollar value on a question. How much would it take for you to forget how to swim? How much would it take for you to never eat at a restaurant again? Or how much money it would take for you to teleport to a random year between now and 2000 BC and survive for a year? Everyone else tries to guess exactly what that person decided it was worth. The closer your guess, the more points you earn. The real prize is what you find out about the people around you.

Two ways to play.

Pack Play

The Judge picks a question from the deck and sets a secret dollar value that honestly answers it. Everyone else guesses on a slider that goes from $10 to $1 billion. Closest guess wins. The Judge earns bonus points when players guess well - so fair, honest answers are rewarded.

  1. 1Judge reads the question and sets a secret price
  2. 2Players ask the Judge to clarify - that's part of the role
  3. 3Everyone locks in their guess
  4. 4Closest wins. Rotate and repeat.
Creative Mode

No question cards. The Judge gets a random dollar amount and has to invent a question that fits it. Players see the question - not the price - and use it as their only clue.

  1. 1Judge sees a secret dollar amount
  2. 2Judge writes a question that feels right at that price
  3. 3Players read the question and guess the hidden number
  4. 4Closest wins. The Judge's creativity is on trial.

The conversation your friends didn't know they needed.

Most party games tell you what people know. Cheapshot tells you who people are. Every answer is personal. There's no objectively right number - only what you would actually do it for, and why. That gap between your answer and your friend's answer? That's where the real conversation starts.

We built Cheapshot for groups that want to go deeper than small talk without it feeling like therapy. It works with strangers, old friends, first dates, family dinners, and everything in between. Play it once and you'll find out things about the people around you that years of normal conversation never surfaced.
